The front lower suspension is the core connecting component located below the front suspension system of a car, usually referring to the lower control arm (lower swing arm), which connects the wheels and the frame, and plays a role in supporting the body, absorbing vibrations, and maintaining wheel alignment.

🔧 Main structural forms
MacPherson style: commonly used in household front suspension, consisting of coil springs, shock absorbers, and A-shaped lower swing arms. It has a compact structure and low cost, but has weak anti roll ability.
Double wishbone type: with one upper and one lower wishbone, it has good lateral rigidity and strong suppression of cornering roll. It is commonly used in sports cars and high-end SUVs, but it occupies a large space and is costly.
Multi link type: using 3-5 independent links to control the wheel movement trajectory, balancing comfort and handling, but the structure is complex and difficult to adjust.
⚠️ Common faults and inspections
Symptoms of malfunction: abnormal chassis noise ("clunking" sound when driving on bumpy roads), direction deviation, tire wear, heavy or floating steering.
Inspection cycle: It is recommended to check the ball joint clearance, dust cover, and rubber cover status every 60000 to 80000 kilometers; Under normal operating conditions, most vehicles need to be replaced after 80000 to 120000 kilometers.
Maintenance attention: Four wheel alignment must be done after replacement; If only the rubber sleeve is aging, it can be replaced separately. If the body is deformed or cracked, the assembly needs to be replaced; Suggest replacing both sides to ensure chassis balance.
